What do you do when trades just aren’t working?

Two early mistimed trades during the opening drive put me in the red. Money management and having a risk management plan ensured that a) I didn’t do any more damage and b) The total daily loss was just half of the prior days gain. No revenge trading, no “getting it back”. Acknowledge it, adjust if necessary and move on.
