Repetitive behaviour

I use to “play” brain games from www.lumosity.com as a warm up before session start. you get points for beeing accurate and fast.
I found out that, if you are wrong on one question, it´s highly probable to be wrong on the next, so the best thing to do is to close your eyes for a few seconds and restart your brain, so that the next move will be right.
I think in trading it´s the same thing, when you´re wrong about a trade, it´s highly probable to be wrong about the next, especially if you take it too close to the previous. So, step back and restart.
I don´t know how the brain works internally, so I it leave to the educated to find a proper explanation.
